The size of Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City compared to some of the biggest maps in gaming can easily go head to head with other titles and even exceed the size of some maps. With how much content and richness of detail there is within the game, some players could possibly overwhelmed with how much content there is. Thankfully, CD Projekt Red is releasing something that will greatly help players navigate Night City.

On the same day as launch, CD Projekt Red will be releasing a physical strategy guidebook for Cyberpunk 2077 will be released along with the game. The books come in both paperback, which costs $24.99, and hardback, which costs $39.99. The strategy guide will contain help with every side quest in the game, as well as help in understanding the core gameplay mechanics.
While physical strategy guidebooks are slowly but surely becoming less commonplace within the gaming community, in favor of online strategy guides, this guidebook will definitely be useful on day one. This game is gigantic to say the least and can easily square up against games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, so needless to say, it will take awhile before factually accurate and extensive strategy guides are posted online. Thus it makes sense for some players to purchase this physical strategy guidebook.
Plus, there’s a high amount of content featured in the game. Considering that Cyberpunk 2077’s main story length is dozens of hours long on top of all of the side quests featured throughout, there’s a lot of content for player’s to process. This strategy guidebook at least within the first few days of the game’s launch will easily be the most accessible place for players to get help with the game.
In any case, it will be interesting to see how well the game is received. Considering that the only series that CD Projekt Red is known for is The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 is the studio’s first game outside of the series, a lot of players are going to wonder how well the studio tackles a new IP.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on December 10th, 2020 on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S adaptations currently in development.
