Anticipation for the 2022 Masters Tournament grew several magnitudes on Tuesday when Tiger Woods announced he would be playing in the tournament just over a year after he was involved in a major car crash that required months of rehab for his legs.
With the tournament slated to begin on Thursday, the Masters has already released its groups and tee times for the first round. Woods will tee off at 10:34 a.m. ET along with Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann. Last year’s champion, Hideki Matsuyama, will tee off 11 minutes later along with Justin Thomas and amateur James Piot.
