Woods, making his first Masters appearance since his February 2021 car accident, finished the second round above the cut line at 1 over par for the tournament. Over the course of the past two days, he has, at different points, displayed his clutch short game and shown that he still has plenty of power in his drive.
But Scheffler is running away with the tournament after the first two rounds. He ended Round 2 at 8 under, five shots clear of the next-closest golfers. The cut, which was 4 over, included golfers who were 12 shots behind the leader.
